The low tide invites her
One step at a time
She takes it all in
The salty air
The Pacific between her toes
Fully submerged she screams
No one can hear her
She is finally alone
With her brood
The marine life
They welcome her back
And begin their journey
Back to her dwelling
Kelp adorned curtains
Gives way to her lair
As she enters
Greeting solitude
With an emphatic kiss
They do their dance
Alone at last
