Out of the three shops I approached, two were more corporate in structure—but then came the diamond in the rough: The Healing Shoppe in Upland, CA. The energy inside that space hit differently from the second I walked in. It was pure healing and authenticity—like I had stepped into a frequency where real transformation happens.
A Place That Feels Like Home
How would I know? Because The Healing Shoppe isn’t just a retail space—it’s a community built on self-discovery, wellness, and radical acceptance. They offer classes in Alternative Wellness for those seeking to heal and move forward as their true selves, without judgment or borders.
Sidebar moment: I am beyond grateful that I walked through their doors. Not only did they agree to carry my book, but I also found myself signing up for Mama Troy’s “Healing Your Inner Child” class. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect—I thought “inner child” meant connecting with your spirit or inner joy. Boy, was I wrong. Mama Troy cracked Pandora’s box wide open. That class made me understand where my patterns, defenses, and masculine energy come from—and how much of it traced back to childhood conditioning.

When The Healing Shoppe agreed to carry My Vibe Is RICH AF, I was ecstatic. One of my goals for 2025 was to have a book placed in a physical store. But like I said, the Universe had its own timeline. During that same class, Mama Troy told me, “We’re going to do a book signing for you.” Those might not have been her exact words, but the message was clear: it was happening.
Cut to this weekend—the actual day of my My Vibe Is RICH AF Book Signing!
I didn’t know what to expect, but I had my bestie and creative partner Blaine Dean Media with me, camera in hand, capturing every moment. The Healing Shoppe’s “Sanctuary Room” was transformed into a cozy, glowing space just for this event. Danielle, the store owner, even bought a bigger TV to elevate the vibe.
What started as a book signing for My Vibe Is RICH AF evolved into something far deeper—a true healing session, exactly as their IG promo suggested. In that intimate room, kindred souls gathered to share, reflect, and connect. Sure, I spoke about my book, but the conversation flowed into something bigger—community. Everyone was encouraged to speak openly, to be heard, and to listen without reacting. That kind of presence, that kind of energy, is rare.
Thankful doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel. Finding The Healing Shoppe changed my trajectory. My life leveled up on September 6, 2025, all because I decided to Google “metaphysical shops near me”. The Universe guided every step—and now, I’m walking proof that alignment always delivers ahead of schedule.
