The work centers on the idea of an aperture, a concept that shapes the visual structure of Honey Aperture both photographically and metaphorically. Through layered distortion and fluid gradients, the imagery appears to collapse inward, forming a vortex-like structure where light, color, and form converge. Warm oranges, amber golds, and subtle violet undertones created a glowing visual field that shifts between organic motion and abstract geometry.
Honey Aperture continues my ongoing exploration within Abstract Distortions, a body of work where I deconstruct and rebuild my own photographic source material into entirely new visual environments. Through distortion, color manipulation, and fluid motion, I transform the original image into a surreal abstract composition that emphasizes movement, transformation, and visual tension.
