The Healing Shoppe Writing Workshop: Round One Complete
Two weeks ago, I wrapped up my first three-part Writing Workshop series at The Healing Shoppe in Upland, California, and officially celebrated my first two graduates!

From Starting to Publishing
Over the past three months, we worked our way through the writing process from beginning to execution.
We started in July with Get Out of Your Head & Start Writing, focused on quieting the overthinking, getting words onto the page, and simply beginning.
In August, Finding Your Writing Voice moved us deeper into developing confidence, style, perspective, and the individual voice behind the work.
Today, we completed the series with Self-Publishing Execution, bringing everything together and talking about what happens after the writing is finished, including preparing a manuscript, formatting, publishing, and actually getting the work out into the world.
What made this series especially meaningful was watching two writers show up for all three classes, participate, ask questions, write, revise, and continue moving their work forward.
Three Classes Later
Writing can feel incredibly personal and sometimes intimidating, especially when you are trying to move from “I want to write” to “I actually wrote this.”
My goal was never to tell anyone how they should write. It was to give writers the tools, information, momentum, and space to figure out how they want to do it.
Three classes later, I got to stand beside the first two graduates of my Healing Shoppe Writing Workshop series.
Round Two Starts January 23
And this was only Round One.
Round Two of The Healing Shoppe Writing Workshop begins January 23, 2027, repeating the same three-class series from Round One: Classes 1, 2, and 3.
