James Bacchi’s Photography Heads to Times Square Ahead of IN THE SKY
Photographer James Bacchi took his work to one of New York City’s most recognizable locations: Times Square.
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, Bacchi’s photography appeared on a digital billboard at 1560 Broadway in New York City, that began at 12:09 AM Eastern Time and appeared during the ninth minute of each hour throughout the day.
The Times Square feature arrived as Bacchi prepares for the release of IN THE SKY, his forthcoming photography book with Baroque Medusa Media.

IN THE SKY: Mobile Photography Across Seven Cities
IN THE SKY is a collection of mobile photographs capturing perspectives above the streets of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Paris, Budapest, and London.
Through architecture, atmosphere, and unexpected perspectives, Bacchi invites viewers to look beyond their immediate surroundings and discover what exists overhead.
Currently in the physical proof stage, IN THE SKY is approaching its final production phase with Baroque Medusa Media.
The Times Square appearance offered an exciting opportunity to celebrate Bacchi’s photography as anticipation builds for the book’s official release.
