Happy New Moon and New Release Day!
Under the last New Moon of the year, This Is My Mixtape: Volume 2025 has officially dropped.
I wrote this book stripped and straight from the moments I was in. This Is My Mixtape is for anyone whose life has felt like it was lived on shuffle.
I did not write this to follow rules or explain myself. I wrote it exactly as it came out. In real time. In real feeling.
This book is a record of where I was and what moved through me.
About the Book
This Is My Mixtape is not a traditional poetry collection. It is a compilation of fragments, feelings, and midnight thoughts stitched together like tracks on a playlist. I guess you could consider it journaling for those who are not familiar with the term “mixtape”.
Some poems are sharp and fast. Some stretch long after the page ends. Others land quietly and stay. And some are just plain silly.
There is no fixed structure or theme. Only rhythm, thought, and emotion on repeat.
The collection moves through heartbreak, grief, lust, and spiritual rebellion. Each piece stands on its own while still bleeding into the next, telling the story of a life lived in loops, late night replays, and emotional remixes.
If your inner world has ever felt like a playlist you keep skipping, replaying, and reshuffling, this book will feel familiar.
Two Ways to Experience It
Paperback Edition
The paperback is the full sensory experience. It includes original illustrated visuals that lived in my head long before they existed on the page, brought to life with the help of AI.
Each visual pairs with a poem or mood. Moody, erotic, raw, and occasionally surreal. This edition is meant to be held, revisited, and felt.
Kindle Edition
The Kindle edition is intentionally stripped down. No visuals. No distractions. Just the words.
Pure, immersive, and intimate, exactly as the poems land.
Who This Book Is For
If you connect with writers like Rupi Kaur, Yrsa Daley Ward, or Nayyirah Waheed, you will recognize the emotional weight here. This book still stands firmly in its own lane.
I do not ask permission.
