Something New Is Coming to Baroque Medusa Media

For a long time, Baroque Medusa Media has been about one thing: giving people the confidence to share their work with the world.

Whether it’s publishing a first book, finding your creative voice, or finally calling yourself an artist, I’ve always believed creativity deserves to be celebrated rather than hidden away.

Now it’s time to take that vision one step further.

I’m excited to announce that Baroque Medusa Media is launching a brand-new curated creative publication, with our inaugural issue scheduled for January 2027. While I’m still putting the finishing touches on the official name, the mission is already clear: to create a home where independent creators can share their work, connect with other artists, and be part of something built from authenticity rather than perfection.

Calling All Independent Creators

Whether you’re a writer, poet, essayist, memoir writer, short story writer, screenwriter, songwriter, lyricist, or journal writer…

Whether you’re a photographer, painter, digital artist, graphic designer, illustrator, sketch artist, comic artist, mixed media artist, collage artist, sculptor, ceramic artist, printmaker, fiber artist, textile artist, calligrapher, or lettering artist…

If you create, I’d love to see your work.

This publication isn’t limited to one medium because creativity isn’t limited to one medium.

For our inaugural volume, there is no theme.

Instead, I want this first issue to celebrate originality and showcase the many different ways creativity exists. Every page should feel like discovering someone’s unique perspective, whether that’s through words, photographs, paintings, illustrations, sculpture, or another form of artistic expression.

A Curated Publication for Independent Artists and Writers

Every submission will be thoughtfully reviewed.

This isn’t about filling pages. It’s about curating a publication that represents originality, craftsmanship, creative expression, and a diverse collection of independent voices.

While I’d love to feature everyone, publication will be selective to ensure every issue maintains a cohesive, high-quality reading and viewing experience.

The goal isn’t simply to publish creative work.

The goal is to build a publication people look forward to collecting twice a year.

Published Worldwide Through Amazon

The inaugural issue is currently scheduled for January 2027 and will be published as a paperback through Amazon, making it easy for contributors, friends, family, collectors, and readers around the world to purchase a copy.

Baroque Medusa Media plans to release the publication twice each year as a semi-annual series celebrating independent creativity.

Submission Guidelines

There is no submission fee.

Selected creators will never pay simply to have their work considered for publication.

All submitted work must be original, and creators must own the rights to everything they submit. If selected, contributors will grant Baroque Medusa Media permission to publish their work within the publication.

Because the publication will be distributed through Amazon, submissions must also comply with Amazon KDP content policies and applicable copyright laws. Work containing explicit pornography, unlawful material, hateful content, or copyright infringement will not be considered.

Additional submission guidelines, accepted file formats, contributor information, and the official publication name will be announced soon.

Contributors whose work is selected will also have the opportunity to purchase author-priced copies following publication.

I’ve spent years building Baroque Medusa Media around one simple belief: creative expression matters.

This publication is an extension of that belief.

It’s a place to celebrate artists and writers, encourage creative exploration, and introduce readers to voices and visions they may never have discovered otherwise.
